cb4798
Hi All,The ride height at the rear of my car is too high but the dampers are at the maximum. Is there a way to adjust this?Sorry the photo is on its side but it rotated when I uploaded it.
SM25T
If you slacken off the adjuster and remove the spring damper from the car .... you'll find the sleeve the platforms screw on to sit on a circlip on the damper body. There may be another groove. If not ... you can get one machined. I did ... mine was too low.
cb4798
Do I need a spring compressor to take it apart?

Area Representative Richard Price Posted May 24, 2016 Area Representative Share Posted May 24, 2016 cb4798,Are the gaps between the coils of your springs the same? The standard springs are progressive, and the coils are closer together at one end than the other. If you have linear rate springs, and want to lower the car, it's likely that springs will drop off the platforms at full droop. If so, you may need helper springs to keep everything aligned.
cb4798
Not sure to be honest. I'll have to take another look tonight. It's just the standard adjustable blistein damper.
