CPS7 Posted August 30, 2015 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Catreham guage. Oil pressure used to sit at circa 2, and rise steadily with revs to circa 6+. Now sits at 4 tickover, and rises with revs to circa 7.Recently had couple of wet runs with lousy weather, and hot runs, without water temp or oil probs that I know of, discontened battery to sort something else...Any clues?Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SM25T Posted August 30, 2015 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Electrical oil pressure sender failing. Common fault. Change to a mechanical gauge with a nylon tube fitted to an adaptor in place of electric sender and routed round offside of engine and through big grommet at front of tunnel top ... to mechanical gauge.
