RS2000
Skoda Roomster - In the drivers door there are switches for both drivers side and passenger side electric windows. The drivers side window works as normal. However when I try to open the passenger side window using the switch in the drivers door, you can hear a slight clicking noise from the passenger side but nothing happens. But the passenger side window will operate as expected using the passenger side switch. I could understand the issue if it didn't work at all, or if there was no clicking noise from the passenger side...Strange! - anyone experienced this? Any suggestions? Thanks
Member Jonathan Kay Posted December 18, 2014 Member Share Posted December 18, 2014 Does anyone know if these are point to point wired or if there is a control or relay unit? Or have a wiring diagram? In the absence of that I'd expose the switch in the driver's door and run a good temporary feed into the wire to the passenger's door's window. That should test whether the problem is in the switch. If that doesn't work I'd run a good temporary feed into the terminal on the passenger's door switch that receives the feed from the driver's door.
