I'm not happy about the rationale but it got the campaign into the headlines.

A pragmatic approach would have been to announce that "We're off for a kebab. Back in two hours. CCTV disabled."

Then tell the protesters that Kenneth Noye is in the queue.

The thing is, their 'cause' is well known. It's been rammed down our throats endlessly for years now and things are moving in the right direction, albeit slowly. That's climate management in general.

As far as insulating homes is concerned, cheap subsidised systems have been available for years and huge progress has been made in that direction. In that respect this seemed like a protest being made 20 years or more too late.

I can't for the life of me see what was gained by the M25 'protest' yesterday. I can see an awful lot of damage done, though. Which leads me to believe they're more interested in having a protest than actually achieving anything.

They could be arrested for instigating a massive carbon pollution incident arising out of all the stationary cars caused by their roadblocks Rofl
