Can you please confirm that as advertisers and supporters of the club we are able to post the odd commercial advert or link to an item we may have that would be of interest or benefit to members as was the previous policy?

Thats not an advert every day or every week.  Just adhoc or if a thread topic related to one of your products you could link to it.

We have recently been asked to qualify the rules around acceptable behaviour by commercial suppliers when posting on BlatChat.  Please find below the following guidance which is also compliant with our BlatChat Code of Conduct.

It remains the case that all companies which pay for advertising on BlatChat or in Lowflying are entitled as part of their 'package' to post new products and services on Blatchat - in a specific thread created for that explicit purpose.

Notwithstanding the above, any company or individual member keen to bring new products or services to our membership are always invited to offer an 'infomercial' offering for publication in Lowflying - this is an excellent way for all our members to enjoy reading about the technical developments, and adds value to our magazine.

We are very grateful for all the support and technical advice that businesses provide to all our members, and historically we believe that members with commercial interests have behaved with admirable restraint and sensitivity with regard to promoting their businesses, and we're grateful to them all for that.

On behalf of members, the LT ask's that poster's continue to demonstrate their kind respect, and that the website isn't abused for commercial reasons.  The the LT reserves the right to remove posts we feel are taking advantage of the spirit of the BlatChat Code of Conduct.
