Manstein
Over a rather dark and gloomy Trollstigen pass this morning.

Manstein
Excellent roads in Norway but this is a bad time for motor homes, if you want to make progress get away very early and arrive midday. I've been mainly on back roads as the main E routes are 50mph limit and lots of speed cameras. I got stopped by police for a bit of bold overtaking but it was only to look at the car. Fuel everywhere mainly unmanned credit card pumps.I'm on the return leg now back via Kristiansand and across Denmark and Germany to Ijmuiden in the Netherlands. Be nice to drink beer where it isn't £8 a bottle!
p.mole1
It's a fantastic place if you get the weather, been there many times. I used to able to get the ferry from my door step, 5 miles away at North Shields. Just don't get caught speeding!
Highside43
Just aim for the back end of the Moose when you hit one...that's what they teach on the driving test in Sweeten. Love Norway, go ice climbing up the frozen waterfalls in Rjuken most years, and Louise's in Oslo for the sea food platter is a must. Never taken a 7 though as too winter weather when I go, but wouldn't mind a blat round in the summer.
Manstein
I was lucky with the weather never had the hood on in a fortnight. Ok on Moose I have experience of them in Colorado much bigger than expected but not on the road! From previous trips I notice every locals car north of the arctic circle have enormous spotlights for night driving as not only moose but reindeer wander about on the roads.
