Roads to Drive for your Bucket List.

Shropshire AR

Recommended Posts

We all have our favourite Blats and there are there are numerous websites suggesting the best roads to drive or drives to add to your bucket list. So, I thought I'd start a thread of some of favourite Blats that are well worth doing in a Caterham. Feel free to add your best drives so we can build up a list geographically spread around the UK and Europe.

Location - Mid Wales

Newtown to Crossgates  on the A483 (Either direction) 21 miles of very good condition tarmac consisting mainly of sweeping bends and corners in a very scenic area. (A big favorite of the Bikers). Best time to drive - Early on a Sunday morning between 7.30 - 9.30am If you drive the route to finish in Crossgates there's a good cafe at the Crossgates Service Station to enjoy a hearty Full English.

I'll add the B4391, from off of the A4212 above Afon Tryweryn, nr Bala, North Wales, towards Ffestiniog.

Just watch out for the sheep !

The cottage on the LHS at 5:00 mins ( at the junction ) is actually a great little cafe. Well worth a stop though it doesn't look like much. Owner makes everything fresh, even baking her own bread.
