LOL indeed. It certainly does have a touch of WH about it you're right. As to the age it's tricky as not much is known before 1802 but this is quoted on wiki and sounds right looking at the other local buildings and style:

 "It is believed that Sleddale Hall was the home of William Rawes, Yeoman of Sleddale sometime between 1740 and 1758".
