we fell foul of an ANPR parking system the other week, SWMBO got the ticket and got a letter wrong in the registration, and low and behold we get a demand for £100 reduced to £60 is paid within 14 days.
We still have the ticket which I've checked the incorrect rg number with DVLA and it is not issued to a vehicle so there is no change of being accused of transferring a ticket.
this is simple human error.
This is run by a private company........
Do I enter into correspondence with them or simply ignore and wait for the debt collectors letters...
Any legal advice appreciated please.
