Garages are back at work and doing MoTs. I'm sure IVAs are more thorough, but I can't see why the risk would be any higher.
George the good news for you is the factory has a higher priority over kit builders (i.e cars stuck at Crawley).
My detailed build blog
My IVA was due the 20th April, I've sort of prepared myself that I might not get the car on the road this year.
I've also heard that the DVLA has a large backlog.
Fingers crossed though we maybe able to get some driving time this year
I was just thinking the same thing. My test was booked for the 1st April. I won't drive my car on salted roads, having owned a car that was. So if my retest comes when the salt is spread, I will use a covered trailer to get my car to the test. This introduces another problem, where to bed the brakes in, and I need to get that done before the salt covers the roads.
This was why I planned my build for an April IVA :-(
I was at Caterham Gatwick yesterday and one person will be happy. A new kit was being loaded on to a van for delivery
