Was just trying to see if they are shipping up and down the country to find slots.  Caterham factory builds are priority 3, and if they are sending them to Scotland from Dartford for example, it means us kit builders have no chance :)

Have you been specifically told that the priorities are working in that way? I looked at the application website and my reading was that group 1 and 2 are the first priority, and 3,4,5+6 were second. It didn't specify going in order. Might still be hope!

"Might still be hope" would be a good title for my last few years of ownership.

I've just looked at the DVLA website about the IVA testing

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-vehicle-approval-tests

If your approval test was cancelled because of coronavirus

Vehicle approval tests will not be rebooked automatically.

If you applied for a vehicle approval test you’ll need to fill in a form to arrange your test. You’ll receive an email with instructions on how to do this.

Has anyone received the email or submitted the new form?

I was under the impression that the test would be automatically rebooked and as I've already paid the IVA fee back in March it's pretty poor form by the DVLA.

If anyone is able to shed some light that would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Mine is a factory build so I haven't been involved in booking the IVA. I agree it's poor form not to honour the old bookings with delays, but I'd suggest you fill the new 'priority' form to get back on the list!

I think the form they want is the 'Reqest for emergency IVA if booked before 1st July' that is on the website. Send to [email protected] I have been on the phone today for 30 mins at a time to get them to cash my fee cheque.......no joy yet! Updated: joy at last, fee taken, PBC almost done.....I'm on the plot!

I spoke to Oakmere today who where really helpful as usual and they advised to speak to DVSA.

So spoke to DVSA they said fill in the PT1 form and submit to [email protected]

So I've submitted the form and i have received an email from DVSA late this afternoon about 'Apply to arrange your individual vehicle approval (IVA) test' which basically stated to do what I did earlier this morning.

And reading the email sent today carefully, there is a new version of that form.  Monday I filled in v1.1 of the PT1 form, and now there is v1.2.  So I have filled one of them in as well.  Still back of the queue.

I did enjoy filling in the box "From what date will all the vehicles be available for examination?"  I went with 01/04/2020 the original IVA date :-)  (even further to the back of the queue for me)
