Anyone know the best place to sell a watch?

Wanting to sell a Rado watch that I don't use. Any suggestions please other than EBay and Gumtree, or are they the best?

You could try the proper auction route. Fellows in Birmingham are specialists: https://www.fellows.co.uk/

I'd recommend Chrono24. It works differently as they hold your funds in escrow until the watch has successfully been delivered and accepted.

https://www.chrono24.com/

I've brought 2 watches on there, and attempted to sell one - which didn't get a bid - I clearly asked too much! It's also a good place to get a feel from the going rate for a particular model.

Cheers

Thank you all for the suggestions.

It's a serious topic Rog, I am hoping I can get 3 track days from the sale of that watch -  much better reallocation of funds :)

I used Watchfinder last time , they tend to overprice their stock relative to the market and i found their offer to buy was much better than elsewhere .( £1500 more than the next highest bid i got on a £5000 watch  )

The only thing i would say is that you may find that the going rate for a Rado is less than you might hope .

Just fill in the online enquiry and get a bid , it costs nothing .....
