David - neither did mine , nor a football club. But as I prefer Prancing Horses , from both Maranello and Stuttgart , and don't like football , no sleep is being lost .

I do not see anything there that would not apply to any team designing a race car.

Looks odd that they decide to not use some advanced materials and stick with Steel and aluminium.  I would have though the largest area for design novelty would be the potential to distribute the battery weight to maintain low CoG.

John, my 9 month old grandson's middle name is Enzo. He has an Italian father but wife is annoyed when I don't use his first name.
Just remembered that my son's boy is called Lewis, perhaps my motoring interest has been passed down the generations after all. (thinking that by the time they are old enough to drive they might not understand or admit to an interest in cars).

I spent two years of my life thinking about the synthesis of urea. But I'd guess AdBlue uses the industrial product rather than the porcine.

Do you know about its special rôle in ending vitalism? And that Pasteur never gave it up!

I'm late to this thread but have seen mention of hydrogen fuel cells as an alternative to battery power. If HMG were to push forwards with converting the current natural gas grid to hydrogen as has already been investigated then filling up at home would be simple. See https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/logistics-of-domestic-hydrogen-conversion
