Once saw a 911 (Turbo I seem to recall) with 10NUP written with a screw above the "1" and spaced so as to read TON UP What a t*sser I thought. Anyone who knows about cars knows a 911 when they see one, and they're a damned sight faster than a ton! Knew a SAAB with the number plate 5 AAB which looked fine. In Memoriam DMG

Followed a Porsche yesterday on the way to Penn Sevens with "BI BY U". ------------------------------------------------- The main problem with common sense is that it's not that common!

A chap around the corner from me has a 911 turbo Reg 911 NUT He went to a TD at Snetterton that I was at but I am afraid to say that he turned out to be a bit of an He could not understand how something with a 1600 Rover engine was as fast on a lap as he was. I have to say that he was up there with the greatest drivers in the world ....................on the straight bits but ........ braking and corning ................... very mediocre even with all the cars gizmos Kept telling me how much he paid for it NEW Grant Taylor OBNS Motorsport www.obns.co.uk 183 BHP of Black and 'Stone Chip' excitement.

Some 'personalised' plates can make one appear a bit of a PEN 15.
