18 months before I purchased my R400 I could have purchased from the DVLA site M11 EST ( Miles T ), for only £249. By the time I ordered the R400 it was gone Wish I'd bought when I first saw it. Mind you R400 MGT isn't to bad ( £249 also ). I would never bother to have one on a normal car. I often wondered why CC didn't do some sort of deal with regard number plates on the R 3/4/500 cars, as they all appearred available at about £250 on the DVLA site. Good bit of advertising. I gotta admit that I normally think cherished marks are a bit naff, especially if they depict the owner rather than the car, but spog's just got his first TVR at 22. here ]and I think it's cool. Dammit I'll have to take this into the shed and sort it out. Edited by - susser on 28 Feb 2007 21:39:02 Edited by - susser on 28 Feb 2007 21:41:36

I'm not a big private number plate fan - although I was offered 'SMB 3' when I used to have my Williams Clio a few years back for a few grand. Saw down on the Chelsea embankment on Sunday two cars parked in garages visible from the road - one an Aston Vanquish with the plate "2B" - the other a Bentley with the playe "NOT 2B" - class with a capital Ass. P155 OFF was never issued. It must have been something that looked similar.

A mate of mine just got back from the States, took a photo (as I would never have believed him) of a number plate that read BOLLOX You can't get more to the point than that....I think it was on a Kia.
