What is the general perception of threat and risk?
I was due to travel to Japan next week and the trip has just been postponed. My boss asked me if I would have been happy to travel to Japan, I said there are fewer cases confirmed in Japan than France so in theory it should be safer.

I have just traveled back from South Korea, what I did notice was the amount of people wearing face masks in the airports and on the airplanes has increased significantly.
I don't think that's currently in any of the reputable advice for ordinary travellers who don't have any symptoms. But a correctly-fitted mask of the right type should reduce human to human transmission.

Having travelled many times to Asia over the last 20 years it took a while to understand that a lot of people choose to wear a mask to protect others when they have a sniffle or cold. Just seems polite.
The extended holiday period is having an adverse effect on Global Supply Chain. Wuhan is a big industrial area and many things made there will be blocked or delayed for supply around the world.
