Any more updates as to area meetings taking place ?
Would be nice to get a monthly update as to what is happening ?
This thread seemed to drop off the stickies page !

I have put the North Wiltshire monthly meeting on hold TFN in respect for members personal health & safety. The pub used has very small interior accommodation & a less than adequate patio area. There is a car park that could be utilised as long as everyone brings a camping stool but like the patio it is subject to weather.
Trouble is most pubs in this area follow the same sort of configuration.
Thankfully there is an area FB group which has saved the day helping members with general Seven type conversation, techy advice, tool loan & even an emergency recovery when a car failed on a singleton blat. It has also enabled members to go out on a blat together meeting first at the RV, socially distanced of course, for a quick chat before setting off. So far there have been three successful blats & more are planned.
Dear Mr Babes
There are no Club area meets officially taking place which is why there has been no update to the 'Covid-19 and Blatting' post since 4 July.
The situation is being monitored and as soon as the Club feels able to change its stance on resumption of formalised activities we will post updates.
We know many areas are organising 'almost arrive-and-drive' blats for up to six people (pre-booked) where for social distancing, there is no real pre- or post-blat tyre kicking to be had.
For the AR9, it is a very difficult line to walk to keep everyone happy, but for every contact we get from someone asking when activity is to be presumed, we get a matching one thanking the Club for our current protective and/or responsible stance etc. This may be accounted for by the fact that our club has a naturally slightly older bias, maybe by nature of our little cars normally being second or third cars in a household which doesn't come easy to younger people.
We know people are out there enjoying their cars anyway which is the main thing, regardless of the club's current stance.
Enjoy them now for what little season we have remaining.
