Not interesting in trains or planes I am afraid.

But if I could own one classic car it would be an early 30s Frazer Nash. With chain drive hardly cutting edge tech, but they are really well proportioned and very effective little sports cars.

Train: Another vote for Shinkansen.  Mass transport high speed refinement and what can be done when you really try.

Plane: De Havilland Mosquito: Speed and power.

Car: Well a bike actually. Honda Fireblade, for breaking the mould of what a sports-bike could be.

Trains not my thing - but two aircraft:

Hawker Hunter (any mark)

C-130 Hercules - (a) because I spent a long time flying in them & (b) as mentioned something that big should not stay up when maneuvering. Maximum thrills at 250 knots & 250 feet mixing it up - especially on fighter affiliation.

Mercedes 300 SLR - especially number 722 driven by Stirling in the Miglia Miglia.

Yes Derek!!

Has to be Austin 7 as it produced all the great race car designers of the 50s-60s-70s via the 750 club

Tiger Moth as it can be flown backwards if you are skilled / crazy enough!

Snowdon rack and pinion engines because the view is amazing
