Mirror mounts

Morning All,

Just recently I've had a few people asking if I have any mirror mounts left so I have decided to re-generate the files and do another batch run of them for anyone who is interested.

They will cost £35 a pair and will include the eight screws and four nuts and will reuse the two nylocs and brass pin from the old hinge.

The brackets are for SPA Design GP1 mirrors and allow the sidescreen to open fully. I think from memory, other SPA Design mirrors are fine and have been used but can't remember which exactly.

Same as before, there are two designs, the solid version and open versions for those who are conscious about added weight Smile

I'll place an order for hose who want them in a couple of weeks (they will take another three weeks to be made) so if you'd like to have a set, PM me or comment below and I'll add you.

Ivan

Are the holes for the bolt to attach the mirror to the bracket threaded, or do you need to use a small nut on the rear?  If a nut, it looks to me that it would rest on the clear vinyl and probably leave a dimple mark.

Tom it doesn't touch the vinyl, it stands clear by around a mm or 2.

mossy7, Simon, thanks both, duly noted, which would you like Simon (solid or open)?

Sorry Stu, had a look at the company and dark grey is all they do. There is a carbon fibre loaded variety (rather than graphite) which could be darker (still listed as dark gery) but at more than twice the price I haven't considered it a viable option. Oh, and they won't be any lighter either Weeping

TomB, as Stu says, there is a couple of mm between the screw and the sidescreen (the nuts are recessed).

Cheers

Ivan
