The Unimog has been down at £123 recently at Argos (using the additional 15% discount code). Reserved one, then decided that my son is only 2, and he's a long way off from wanting one... so didn't pick it up. I prefer this one - and it's just dropped £20 on Amazon from this morning.

He won't be able to read the instructions, the bits will be too small and he just won't get it, so you'll have to do most, if not all, of it.

I've stockpiled many hundreds of pounds worth in the loft for when he's older, picking it up when it's cheap. Most of it's the City range, but there's the London Bridge and Space Shuttle up there too. Hopefully getting the Lambo Police car for me, oops I mean him, soon too.

Ever since we found out that 'her indoors' was preggers I can't stop going on about stockpiling lego...! We don't know the gender yet, so I can't make any presumptious purchases...

Can't you use that logic the other way round... buy the Lego now and if you're lucky enough to have a daughter promise you'll play with it with her. Who could turn that down? Jonathan

Slightly blown away by 2 things. Firstly, the worrying enthusiasm 7 owners have for Lego and secondly the outstanding models covered above. Clearly, I am a 7 owner!
