Petrol - Don’t panic buy

Funny how all the petrol stations I passed this morning had queues into the road! Rage

The solution is to let all the Calais immigrants in and corale them straight in to an HGV training centre. Voila. we'd be helping people and helping ourselves.

When i saw the news last night with 'Please don't panic buy' i thought maybe it was deliberate to create chaos cos all the news channels are lefties right?

I passed a fuel station near Stowmarket where two police officers were supervising.

Access to my street is completely blocked due to an army of completely useless narsissistic tosspots queueing in all directions to get to the local petrol station. An hour ago a fire engine was stuck in the jam. Probably still there.

"i thought maybe it was deliberate to create chaos"

Almost certainly. But as there is a shortage of HGV drivers across Europe (so we are told) how do BP think the government are going to suddenly magic up 100,000 of them?

Nothing to do of course with a failure by companies to recruit and train people over the last 20+ years. Or shutting down test centres for months on end.

Quite pleased we have an EV too now. As long as the power stays on............

#6 From what I've heard the biggest problem is the DVLA taking 12/15 weeks to issue licences after testing and when medical certificates are submitted.

If that's true, why the Government couldn't just allow drivers to drive on the test result I wouldn't know.

Yep, what the Leave voters really wanted was more unfit HGV drivers on the roads, I certainly remember being told that at the time of the referendum.
