Top marks to Pink Angels

I had a lot of trouble renewing my membership and even got a reminder (!) to do so.

No success with LoveAdmin, but fortunately we have Pink Angles to help.

Sorted on the phone within the minute.

Thank you Angles for saving me.

 

The bad news, of course, is that I'll lurk here for at least another year...

They really do give us cracking support.  Never had any dealing with them that was anything other than pleasant and helpful.

And glad to hear you're hanging around for another year.

Despite the LoveAdmin ordering fiasco, my new Club stickers/decals arrived this morning.

I emailed yesterday as couldnt print my membership slip for 2021 as just renewed.

Prompt reply - we're posting out physical cards again!!

Does Love Admin do anything that PInk  Angel in the office cant do?  I must admit I don't think I've ever needed to use LA.

Here we go again.  Pink Angels do get paid for this service.  Personally I have never had to use Pink Angels and never had a problem with LA other than the clunky interface.  Can we either have LA or Pink Angels and stop paying for both?

Tom, the LoveAdmin system is our club membership database therefore Pink Angels refer to it themselves for any details they need, also the area reps use it to send out emails to multiple members in their area and the leadership team email multiple club members in the same way ... this is why it is important that every member's email is up to date!  

LoveAdmin should also enable members to access their own information, make any changes (eg. new email address), book events etc, but this is where it falls down in that it's quite clunky and not intuitive.  In reality it isn't a true e-commerce system, as a number of members have found out when making bookings for track days. With the new sticker range, if you want to order 4 stickers, to do it via LoveAdmin results in 4 separate orders and 4 separate postage payments and there's no way we can get round that - phone the office and the team will take your details, charge you for the stickers plus one combined postage, and pop them in the post, job done.

LoveAdmin is unlikely to get any better and there are certainly alternative systems available, but changing would need to be a very carefully planned and executed task, the last thing we want to do is jump from the frying pan to the fire but done properly we could improve greatly on where we are currently.

bluenose, Pink Angels are our contracted admin team, LoveAdmin is the software they/we use. No, we cannot run the club efficiently by having only one or the other.

I got an error message from PayPal when trying to pay online:

 

So it seems that theres something about the interfacing. Can't tell what, and to be honest I can't be bothered. I am simply pleased that I get a brilliant service when I call the office on the phone.

I am sorry if you feel it offending that I praise a supplier that I find is giving me a good service.
