GT seats

Hello All

I'm thinking in upgrading my seat to the "GT seat".

Before I purchase them I would like to "test" them.

Is there an 7 owner around Oxford/Newbury area  who has them and who is willing to let me sit in his car?

Cheers

Jack

Out of interest (and sorry to hijack the thread), what is the fit like in the GT seats? My wife finds the Tillets too restrictive in the hips (ahem) and prefers the leather seats. I like the support from the tillets. I'm thinking the GTs might be a good compromise.
Given the anatomical difference in men and women's bodies, I'm interested in any female views on relative seating comfort!

Do you share the driving?  If not have "his & hers" seats.  I have a Tillet on the driver's side, but left the S Type on the passenger side.  I find the Tillet really comfortable but can understand a rigid seat doesn't look as comfortable.

re #4... Chiswick... so a simple jaunt along the M4/M40 depending whether you're closer to Newbury/Oxford!

Personally, I don't fit in an S3 - my hips are an uncomfortable interference fit with the transmission tunnel/side skins.  The SV with lowered floors and the GT seats is a bit too capacious but extremely comfortable. Thumb Up

@ #5 Definitely worth trying what fits you as I loved the look of the GT seats but they were too wide for me and the Tilletts were a much better fit. So to answer your question, the GT seats are wider at the hip and the shoulders.

#6 - we don't share the driving so a mix n match seating solution might be the answer!

#8 - thanks, useful to know
