Invitation: An evening with Caterham Cars

The Lotus Seven Club is delighted to invite members to a webinar with senior members of Caterham Cars, to be held on Wednesday 3rd March, starting at 19:30 (London time).

Don’t miss this chance to hear the latest updates and to have your questions put to Chief Executive Officer Graham Macdonald, Chief Commercial Officer David Ridley and Chief Motorsport & Technical Officer Simon Lambert.

To join this free event, pre-registration is required via the link below, where you will also have the opportunity to submit any questions for the panellists.  There will be an opportunity to ask additional “live” questions during the webinar, but for the best chance of having your questions selected, we suggest submitting them with your registration.

To secure your place at what is bound to be a popular event, please ensure that you have registered by the end of Monday 1st March.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing joining information (acceptances will be processed during working hours).  Please note that this session is open to Club members only, and that your invitation is personal.  Please also note that with the webinar format we’ll be using, attendees will be able to hear and see our guest panel, but will not themselves be visible on screen.

For any support issues, or to submit any additional questions to the panel between registration and the event, please email [email protected]

Should you wish to opt out of receiving future communications of this nature from the Lotus Seven Club, please inform [email protected]

It looks like this is going to be a great event, and the number of registrations has already significantly surpassed our initial expectations.

To guarantee your place if you have not yet registered, please do so before the end of play Monday. Byebye

I'm guessing that Graham, Dave and Simon's hearts must have sunk when the result of the poll asking what would make you Change your current Caterham for a new one, saying "Nothing - my car is perfect!!"

Graham and I suspect the other directors clearly feel very strongly about the club name and the sense that L7C is promoting a competitor by having Lotus in the name. It's been Caterham 3 times longer than it was Lotus!

Can of worms alert! Let's get over the preciousness, dump the Lotus name and put Caterham in.

What a brilliant event. Congratulations to all involved. I would also like to echo Graham's comments about the club name

"I take her to the floor, looking for a moment when the world feels right"

Great meeting and very enjoyable. Well done to all those who sorted everything out.

It would be great if closer ties could be forged and if that means the lotus part taking a back seat then it should. Time to move forward with a nod to the past, not be ruled by it
