"Invitation: An evening with Caterham Cars" - not enough characters allowed for question asking!

Hi all,

Just registered for the above event - looks really quite interesting and am looking forward to it.

However, during the registration process I then went to add my question to the panel, only I couldn't because the text box allows a limited number of characters! I then had to shorten my question, which made me appear to be using some form of odd 'Borat' language!

So, if my question is asked, can the full version shown below be used please?!!!

My question is:

"Given Lotus have announced they are stopping production of the Elise/Exige/Evora range of cars in 2021, have Caterham considered the commercial viability of building one of those models and branding it a Caterham Exige (for example)?"

Hi Nick - sorry, the question submission functionality comes courtesy of Zoom and we don't have any ability to amend it!

However, your full question duly noted - thanks.  If anyone else has any questions to add after registration or that don't fit, please send them to [email protected] Byebye

#1very good question Nick, maybe an electric version for Caterham to experiment with to use for a 7 in the future.

I'm rather hoping that someone will ask about the titan diff.

Hi Nick

Your question has now been captured.  We have now received 108 questions, there will probably be more to capture from the registration forms which have arrived today.

Billy: there is a question about differentials which has been submitted.

To you both, I don't know which questions or composited questions (as several overlap) will be asked.  The webinar team will analyse them and make a broad range of questions available to the question master ahead of the evening.  We are working on the process.

BTW: to everyone, all the questions submitted on the response form are captured and put into the mix.

Re #2 - Hi Michael, thanks for the invite, but I can't attend due to meetings, as it is the middle of the work day here in Canada. is there any chance the Zoom meeting can be recorded for future viewing, at least for a limited time, as Zoom provides a built-in record facility?

Stephen,

would it be possible for questions NOT asked during the webinar be submitted to the Caterham team for a written response and perhaps include as an artical in LF?

Regards

Ian

I'm sorry that meetings prevent you joining us. I hope that on-line events can help the Club to be more relevant to members further away.

Yes, it will be recorded and we plan to edit it before putting it into the Club's YouTube channel.

Over 100 questions have been posted so far. The webinars team will go through them and many will be composited because they cover the same subject matter. Others can stand alone.

We hope to make sure we have a good variety, making sure all three of the Caterham Cars team have plenty of opportunity to contribute, making sure there are simple & complex questions over a large gamut of the concerns of our members. We want questions of strategy & of immediate concern, of technical, of sales matters, of marketing, of operations.

Whether the Caterham Cars team will agree to cover the unposed questions, I don't know.

I've registered, but not had an email back to confirm.  Are they being sent out when its full, or has something gone wrong?
