Actually, it's priceless ....

You are correct, If someone wants to be clever about it. I've already provided the price once on the 7 and 3 times on the Exige. But if it were me and I read the thread, I'd respect the wishes expressed, but that's me. I can see nobody is in agreement with me.
I can see nobody is in agreement with me.
I wouldn't assume that merely because no-one has agreed in the public forums.
I've just re-read your other post about pricing strategy, and I can certainly understand your dilemma.
Presumably, there's not much of an active s/h 7 market on the IoM? If not, then I suspect a trade-in on the mainland is the way to go, especially as you're prepared to accept the trade-in price.
Regarding dealers, how many of the 7-specialists have you approached so far? If I were selling a car like yours, my first port of call would be Jon Vicker at Millwood. He's always on the look-out for quality second-hand stock, and he's as straight and honest a guy as you'll ever meet. He also does quite a bit of trade overseas, so the seasonal slowdown may not be so much of a problem. Next, I'd contact Sevens and Classics.
Good luck with the sale.
Anyone with an ounce of common sense will search your posts and find a lot of useful information pertaining to the sale. Due diligence.
I’d trade the seven and sell the Lotus privately.
Hopefully my blog will help anyone interested too.
The 420R is staying for the time being, I've been fortunate enough to sort the funds to part-ex just the Exige when sourcing a 620R. Please feel free to delete the thread.
