finmac
Haha, thanks for the kind comments guys.Yes, a bargain for someone - definite fleet rationalisation in progress here, was a toss up between keeping CSR or my Exige 260 - the Exige won! finmac
Been asked by a couple of people whether you "can drive around in Scotland", plenty driving around going on up here and lockdown is lifting now. I stay 10 min Glasgow airport or 20 minutes Glasgow railway station. So fairly handy!

MarkTheGoose
Sold to me! It's changed countries though... It's moved from Scotland to England and now lives near Warwick. I've wanted to scratch the 7 itch since 1974, when (age 12), I wrote to Caterham and asked them for a price list. Had a few trips to Le Mans in various 7's (3 times in a CSR) with a mate and decided that what I wanted was a CSR for road trips with my son - but it had to have a non-swoopy dash. Finlay's car was just the ticket. The whole buying experience has been fabulous and my only complaint driving from Glasgow to Warwick today in the car is that my face muscles ache from all the grinning! Leadership Team Shortshift Posted July 2, 2020 Leadership Team Share Posted July 2, 2020 Sounds like we should meet up, Mark (assume your name is Mark): I'm just eight miles West of Stratford. Would love to see your car and, as I've learned a lot about them in the year since I bought mine, do give a shout if anything is puzzling you.And yes, Neil, a CSR is the car to be seen in nowadays!Maybe we should start a CSR Register. I wonder how many we've got?James
MarkTheGoose
James - sounds like a plan. I'm near Claverdon, so the right side of Warwick

MarkTheGoose
I left home at 7am. Birmingham Airport for 7:30. Airborne at 8:45. With Finlay at 10 (slightly earlier than expected - there were only 14 people on the flight). Off down the road at 11. Stopped for fuel in the Lake District. Met my son in Preston and had a blast around the Ribble Valley. Home for 5.30pm. Biggest problem was my right ankle - I'm used to a cruise control for long motorway schleps... I have to say, although I was in the car for around 6 hours, it wasn't too bad at all
