For Sale : New 420 R S3 Incomplete Build   

I’ve taken the decision to advertise my new kit 7 due to a poor customer experience and subsequent lack of interest in the product.  A history of my issues are documented on the forum.  

I will continue to build the car until a sale is achieved, but will not progress into IVA or reg.

The car is located in the Isle of Man so a buyer will need to collect.  The build has progressed such that the chassis can be quickly made to moved on its wheels.  

Car was ordered through Oakmere.

The car is not advertised elsewhere as I want to ensure any buyer understands the issues I’ve faced. i.e. complete transparency.  Equally I will reserve passing comment on how Caterham warranties work and the post build inspection cost included in the purchase etc.

Spec of the car is as follows.

• Decal Pack Double Stripes (Silver and Black)
• Painted Cam Cover Lotus Toxic Green
• 13” Apollo Black alloy wheels ZZS (6” Front & 8” Rear)
• Tonneau cover - carbon vinyl
• Boot cover - carbon vinyl
• Full weather equipment with interchangeable composite wind deflector
• Heater
• Seats - carbon seats with padding 
• Fully carpeted interior
• Track day roll bar

I have no experience of residuals but understandable want to recoup as much as I can, hopefully a forum member is looking to short cut the delivery wait.

Now that is a sad day, sorry to hear.

It is just a shame you are not nearer others who could pitch in and help sort it.

CC really do have a need to sort their customer interface but I wrote to McDonald on

that years ago, no response to it of course.
