Brightonuk
I blew out my 20 year old muffler made by the Carbon Component Co Now OOB (dam good quality)So I am looking for a replacement pretty much identical in size as the old one exits just below the rear cutout and I want to keep that look The only one I see fits my needs is Raceco Titanium but at $660 or $710 + freight to the US (Sterling not dollars) seem an awfully lot of money for a muffler.Any other options available? Brightonuk
Yer that is an option but I would prefer a tried and tested one so I think am gonna go for the Raceco it has some good reviews and looks the business.

Stridey
I have a Raceco. Advantages are that it’s easy to repack, ie the ends are both removable. The titanium is nice and tough (exhaust has scraped humps a few times. the central tube is not central to the outer casing, which makes using blanket style repacking a bit of a faff as you can’t just wrap it round and round. The previous owner fitted my one, not cheap then. But a nice thing to have.
Brightonuk
I am looking at Simpson from a suggestion from another member cheaper and I don't have to cut the inlet tube and re-weald it The Raceco inlet is angled mine is not. .So the Raceco would mean replacing the exhaust tubing from the collector back to the silencer to accommodate their silencer
