Bricol
If anyone has original Caterham starter motor for a K-series, and hopefully the mounting spacer?Preferably working, at least some of the time if you replaced it to get rid of the k-click. TomB
Are you trying to cure a K click? If so, its a well document problem, likely caused by a combination of a relay, wiring and starter solenoid issues. You couldprobably replace the solenoid on your existing starter if its cooked on your existing starter.
Bricol
No - same project as the de-dion tube :)Cured my K-click 18 yrs ago when it did it three times. I'm fitted a new relay to the end of the fuse box, ran a new fused supply to it, used spare terminals on the ignition switch to operate it, and ran a new wire to the starter solenoid, bypassing all the Caterham/Rover bits, still using the original thick main power cable. Its took some punishment from deep floods to horrendous heat on European motorway blasts into the South of France.
