Wow! Driver's got big cahoonas ! No wonder the car was too fast to race.
So exciting and with no brakes to speak of! The way he passes single seat Coopers etc was brilliant.
He just drifts the car around the corners, it's so well balanced. The trees and lamp posts are pretty close at times!
Looks he is steering with his finger tips! Great to watch.
What a circuit - kerbs, trees and lamp posts. With not a run off area to be seen . Can't see MSUK approving Pittsburgh any time soon..
I wonder what engine he has, Coventry Climax?
I had seen that before but still sat and watched it all the way through.

I'm driving Dad's 1959 Lotus 7 with a Coventry Climax motor. Gridded 13th at the start, I enjoyed working my way through the field despite severe problems with the brakes.

that video has been a frequent morale booster throughout my S1 restoration (even though a Climax lump is way out of my budget and I'm unlikely to ever have the skills he has, or the bravery to slide about that close to immoveable objects).
Fantastic to watch. Excellent driving skills and all the excitement of a good bit of racing.
Isn't it just Piers.
It would never be aloud over here. Elf & Safety would have something to say about it.
