*** CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND SUBSTITUE EVENT NOTIFICATION *** ROUND 10 - Three Sisters

As previously notified the Round at Llandow on Saturday 14^th July has been cancelled.

After a great deal of deliberation, discussion and consultation with a wide range of views, in line with the championship regulations section 1.5 paragraph 2, we are exercising the right to nominate a substitute event

The Llandow Sprint will be replaced with a sprint at Three Sisters on Sunday 2^nd September, whilst entries are now open our classes have not yet been added, as soon as they are added I will advise.

Since our last visit to a very Wet Three sisters last year both the track and the paddock have had significant work done on them with the track being completely resurfaced.

Whilst I know not everyone likes Three Sisters, this will be the third Sprint Longton have run on the venue this year, and whilst I don’t expect a full turn out I know there are a significant number of competitors who won’t be making the trip to Wiscombe the following weekend, so this gives another event for those who I know are struggling to get the required number of event in this year.

For any Lotus Seven Club members who are not competing in the championship this year, they are also able to enter the event as we are an invited club to the championship, any members wishing to run in our classes are welcome to do so as there times will not be counted for the calculation of points
