Some optimistic news about our Curborough events at the end of August.....
The team at Shenstone and District Motor Club are making every effort to put in procedures which will allow competitive motorsport at Curborough to start under the COVID 19 guidelines issued by Motorsport UK. And having been in contact with the BMMC it is planned that we will go ahead with the events on 29th and 30th August.
You will appreciate that many volunteers are working hard to make this happen and it would be great if we can reward them by having a bumper entry for both the Saturday Marshal's sprint and the Lotus 7 Club event on the Sunday. So can I please ask that if you intend to compete to get your entries in as soon as possible so that we can have some confidence that there is sufficient support for both events to run. In fact with so many events having been lost this year there is a chance of Saturday being oversubscribed as it includes the W*******d championship. Another reason to get your entry in soon.
If you have not registered for this year's series you can compete on the Sunday as a clubman's entry.
Although the Marshal's club entry form states that the event will be on the figure of 8 layout it will be a double lap event. The change will be noted in the final instructions. Sunday will be on the figure of 8 layout.
So what are you waiting for?....get your entries in now!
(Full refunds will be given if for any reason these events have to be canceled)
