Comp Sec Posted May 10, 2021 Share Posted May 10, 2021 I received news yesterday that Brecon MC have decided to cancel their hill climbs this year, what would have been round 4 in our championship.This is their statement...Brecon Motor Club regrets to announce the cancellation of the 2021 Dennis Motors Epynt Hillclimbs which were due to take place on the 19th & 20th of June. Unfortunately Welsh Government restrictions show little sign of being eased and the lack of any clarity or guidance does not give us any confidence to commit funds which now need to be spent. It has been a difficult decision to make and we will now focus on hopefully organising our other events subject to the restrictions we in Wales are bound by. We look forward to bringing the Epynt Hillclimbs back in 2022.Very disappointing. The Comp Sec team will look at if their are any possibilities for a replacement championship round.
