Blue_SV
Well done to the team for stepping up - we are all grateful and we will help in whatever way we can. We can only echo the words of others on the value and dedication Chris (and family) brought to the club and championship. At a personal level we are deeply saddened to see Chris leave. He gave us so much support and encouragement over the past years and has been a big factor in us keeping going - taking the time to have a few quiet words made such a difference. Grahame W
I can only echo the sentiments of thanks already expressed by all to Chris (and family) for all the effort that has gone into organising the championship over the past few years and the innovations introduced to make it as inclusive as possible. I do hope that you will now be able to compete and enjoy events without the mantle of coordinator and results taker on your shoulders. It was always difficult to imagine a successor to Chris who could and would give as much time and effort to the role so hopefully by spreading the load between the three of you, Graham Paul and Alan can continue to enjoy the competitive and social side of this great championship. We have been and are now in safe hands and I have every confidence the championship will continue to flourishThanks to allGrahame
Alan Bowler
SV sized boots to fill indeed, and huge thanks to Chris (and family) for all their efforts. Chris has also clearly done a lot behind the scenes in terms of documentation and being super organised, which will help a lot. I look forward to helping Graham and Paul, and for this pesky virus to leave us all alone so we can get back on track. This season will be tricky and may need some flexibility from organizing clubs and ourselves with a shortened/compressed calendar. But rest assured, no plans for radical change going forward - its a great well run and friendly championship, and we have volunteered to help keep it that way. johnpbransfield
Just to echo all the above sentiments. Many thanks to Chris for all his input and encouragement over the years.Big thumbs up to the “3 amigos” for taking this huge job on. Maybe worth joining Class 2 as Graham, Paul and Alan will be busy checking over the time sheets instead of their runs....but there again Chris and Matt will have more time too!!!!Big thanks to all

RogerLegg
Well done Graham, Paul and Alan for taking on the job. I have every confidence that you will make a great job of it, but as you say you have a superb act to follow. Thanks to Chris for all the hard work he has put into the job over the last few years. Chris and Matt have been a constant source of help and advice which has always been given in a friendly and helpful manner. The championship is now in a strong position and this is largely due to the excellent work done by Chris, with the support of his family. I only hope that we will see Chris in the paddock enjoying his sprinting without the pressure of being Comp Sec. Thanks again to the outgoing and incoming Comp. Secs. I don't think Debbie would have plucked up the courage to give sprinting a try without all of your advice and positivity.Great to hear Graham Paul and Alan have taken up the reins. I'm sure you'll let us know if there's anything we can do to make your lives easier.Looking forward to seeing everybody on a track somewhere at some point in the future!Ian & Debbie
