In the last couple of weeks however I have done the NC500 in full, and several times on other sections including chippy runs to Ullapool, Applecross etc and some visits to my family in Tain. I've never done the NC500, I really should get my arse in gear & do it some time soon. There's no excuse really, given I live in Edinburgh. I've been over to Skye & Applecross a few times in the 7 & we have friends near Grantown on Spey, so I've explored the roads around that area quite extensively, as well as Braemar & Glenshee.
