david2
I've had the car for 2 months and 1000 miles and in that time I went to Dave Andrews and had it properly timed and had a 4-2-1 exhaust fitted. I've been out the last 2 nights with air temps around 12-14 and noticed that the car runs so much better with cool air. As a non-engineer does this sound like the car may be running a little rich and would benefit from a remap? far smoother on light throttle and doesn't spit fire on the overum like it does when driven at mid 20C temps in the day recently. The accurate timing from dave and the new exhaust has really improved torque in the 3500-4500 range by the bum dyno, so pleased with that aspect. SM25T
Cooler air is denser .... so you don't need as much of it in the fuel/air mix. Enjoy it.
