Battery master switch (part 2)

Hi,

I've decided to fit switch within the "A" section of the windscreen mount. Downloaded template and guide from club guide section (many thanks). I have drilled holes and ordered an Autolec FIA cut out switch from Caterham.  I noticed the OBD bracket is very close to where switch will be. Asked Caterham how to get round this and was told to remove the bracket by undoing 2 screws. I can't find these screws. Any suggestions please. My car is a 2018-19 420R.

What does the ODB bracket attach to ... are the screw heads maybe the engine bay side of the bulkhead ?

Not removed a OBD bracket before, but I can confirm my 420R with a factory fitted battery isolator does not have the OBD fitted behind the knee panel, unlike my 360R which didn't have a battery isolator.   The OBD port is just tie wrapped to the steering column.

Hi,

I was told to remove OBD port and just let it hang down but I would secure it.
The bracket is attached to the rear of the dashboard.

Just had an email from Caterham and they cut it off. Not an easy task in situ.

The bracket is used to mount the wiper used on LHD car chassis. It is a pain to cut off and I regret deciding to mount it here. I really should have mounted it on passengers side foot well LOL.
