Cosmetic repair to rear wing?

While out and about yesterday, enjoying the fine Dorset sunshine, I picked up some stone damage to my RH rear wing.  This is the standard CC part (in black), and not carbon fibre.

There's a sizeable chip (about 8 mm across) in the fibreglass, and a small crack in the wing itself:

Is there a simple way to repair this?  I don't want to have to replace the wing if I can avoid it.

It is certainly possible to repair, but all the cracked are needs.to be groung out and built up in layers, then filled and sprayed.

I had minor damage (but worse than yours) to my rear wing and decided it was better to fit a new one as a yellow gel coat wing was £138 including vat. I could repair the glass myself, but would have to pay for spraying and I think that wouldn't be far ofg the cost of a new wing.

I'm dealing with almost exactly the same thing John (after a trailer jumped out on me at Cadwell !). Filling and sanding wasn't too onerous and then I tried refinishing with black gloss aerosol which wasn't really successful. Its now at a body shop for spraying and the best price they would give me was £100.00. Given the price of a new standard wing, that's what I'd go for (mine are extra wide ......)
