In light of this thread, plus it being more appealing than cleaning my tin top this afternoon *smile*, I decided to swap to my Momo Mod27 270mm (only if temporarily) as I haven't tried it in this car to date and thought it and I deserved another chance.

In case anyone's interested, my rough measurements show an extra 25mm "thigh/leg" clearance available using a "flat" over a standard round 270mm wheel.
