timb2117 Posted April 1, 2021 Share Posted April 1, 2021 Hiya just changed dash and in my over exuberance got rid of the instrument dipping round rheostat dial.....Q; are the instruments in series? As I have a couple of ground cables to switches disconnected and cannot get any on the instrumentation lighting on....I could only find 2 purple wires to the aforementioned rheostat dial and neither of them register voltage when lights are switched on...Has anyone got a wiring diagram for dash that they could post? 2005 roadsport sv 1800 K, with analogue dials?I'm usually quite good at wiring so this is killing me :) & thanks in advance. timb2117 Posted April 1, 2021 Author Share Posted April 1, 2021 Ahh think I've got it, somehow I had blown the RHS front sidelight and rear tailight 7.5a fuse and when replaced it turns out it was also protecting the rheostat circuit, so join the two rheo wires together, replace fuse and we have lights and action!If anyone has a wiring diagram covering dash though it would be much appreciated as I like a bit more science in my "adventures" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
