Dry Sump dipstick

Any idea where I can get one for a K series engine? Caterham Parts don't seem to have them. Or should I just use a piece of bamboo like others?

Somewhere on here are the measurements needed to make your own, and where the marks need to be.  If you can't find it I can measure mine and send the details, assuming the same set up with the DS swirl tower and the bellhousing tank.

I use a length of aluminum rod purchased from B&Q (5mm diameter IIRC) which has a mark to measure 10.5" from the bottom of the tank. Much easier to do it this way, with the Caterham dipstick if there's nothing showing on the plastic end you don't actually know what you've got.

10.5" seems right for most cars but best to experiment a little, you need as much as you can get in without too much ending up in the catch tank.
