johnnyseven Posted June 22, 2018 Share Posted June 22, 2018 looking at spring rates for a R400D the rears are progressive 30% up rated from standard-(I’ve changed to standard progressive) the fronts are 170lbs - that seems a bit weak to me- and recommendations for fronts- I was thinking 225lbs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Simon.Rogers Posted June 22, 2018 Share Posted June 22, 2018 You are correct about the spring rate being a little low.However if you change the spring rates and not the dampers which are valved to match the springs you have your car will then become over or under damped for the spring rate.That will probably result in a less comfortable drive.
