Dr Slotter
Evening folks, My arrival to yesterday's South Yorks meeting was delayed by a very poorly car, bunny hopping around, running rough, struggling to rev under load etc. Pulled over, bonnet off and discovered the classic 'fractured TPS wires' fault has appeared on my car. Pulled the TPS plug off and the car ran fine. Consulting the BC archives for a better solution than simply re-wiring seems to suggest installation of a more substantial and flexible 'race sub-loom' but I cannot find reference to that on the CC on-line parts store. Any ideas? Ta!
John Vine
I don't have my R400D file with me at the moment, but I do have a note of the possible P/N: 3OL117A or 30L117A. I can't find this on the online store though. I suggest you call Darren as he'll know. JV
Dr Slotter
Great, cheers John. Was just checking if I was being blind or not!
John Vine
Be prepared for a £60+ bill (although that does include the Ford TPS part). JV
