Felixgogo
I have started to get an issue where the rev counter 'goes crazy'. It seems to be after more revs, but has also happened at low revs too. The rev counter sweeps and flutters about, then settles, only to do it again later.Any thoughts?
revilla
I had that on my K Series when I first bought it. Caterham fixed it under warranty bit it was a new tacho required. There's not much outside the unit itself to go wrong other than a loose wire. I guess one if the usual instrument repairers would be able to bench test it and quite for a repair. Felixgogo
Eeek - new tacho? Oh dear, I was hoping it was a sensor issue or similar. OK, I'll monitor it and see how bad it gets.Cheers - Ian
Tim S
Revilla, are you able to give details of instrument repairers? Mileometer and trip meter get stuck - fixed once but failed again after 3 miles so a more enduring fix would be good.
