I think that after 17 years that I should replace my front brake hoses. The car is a 2003 SV with standard Spitfire calipers. Not interested in changing the rear pipes.
Are the front hoses the same for SVs and S3s?
Am I likely to hit any thread size problems (metric/imperial etc.)?
I have seen a few part numbers circulating and am not sure what I am supposed to be looking at (for example 77210F, CAT-3-001-X, CAT-3-002-X, CAT-4-002). Any thoughts on which set I need before I approach a supplier?
Any advice on a preferred supplier? I have seen HEL, SFS and Caterham so far.
Are any colours a problem? I suppose they might get dirty looking sooner but that can be partly offset by looking faster.
I would try http://www.redlinecomponents.co.uk/
I thought all SVs came with widetrack front suspension so std S3 wont fit. I suspect widetrack S3 and SV use the same part.
My widetrack S3 hoses, which came with the kit, have 11 1/4 inches of braided hose from fitting edge to fitting edge.

I think you are right about widetrack but wasn't sure. For some reason when I originally searched on the Caterham website it was not listed but I have think I have found it now.
