Thornberry
I have a single drive and thinking about getting grass pavers. Anyone any experience with putting these down? Or any tips. Putting them part of the garden and placing the turf back on top again.
Ivaan
Google "Bodpave" and you'll get plenty of info.I'd say they're okay as a temporary answer, but if used regularly, the wheel tracks will just become a muddy mess, particularly in the winter .Usually, strip of the turf, lay the paviours on a sharpe sand or gravel bed, then infill with fine topsoil and seed. Don't relay the turf over them. Better to lay them on some geo-fabric ( Terram ), infill with stone or gravel to slow the mud coming through.
