Headlight and indicator issue.

Ladies and gents, electrical help required please.

My car is an ex race car, and came without headlights and indicators fitted, which I have now obtained from the owner. I've got a problem with I'm trying to work through, but I'm really poor with electrical things, and a total novice with Caterhams so I need your help!

Car is a 2009 Sigma. When I plug the econoseal together I get the following issue.

Indicator on - side light and indicator flash together.

Dip beam on headlight switch - Indicator and side light are solidly lit

Full beam on headlight switch - same as dipped.

Flasher switch - Side light and Indicator light solidly whilst switch is depressed.

These symptoms are the same on both econoseal connectors left and right.

I have cleaned the earth connection within the headlamp bowl, and also the one which clamps to the chassis inboard of the left headlight. I have a multimeter, but not much clue how to use it! Is this likely to be a simple case of the connection wired up incorrectly (from the headlight end)?

Any thoughts would be appreciated (in very simple terms!)

Thank you.
