Tuck2020
Ladies and gents, electrical help required please. My car is an ex race car, and came without headlights and indicators fitted, which I have now obtained from the owner. I've got a problem with I'm trying to work through, but I'm really poor with electrical things, and a total novice with Caterhams so I need your help!Car is a 2009 Sigma. When I plug the econoseal together I get the following issue.Indicator on - side light and indicator flash together.Dip beam on headlight switch - Indicator and side light are solidly litFull beam on headlight switch - same as dipped.Flasher switch - Side light and Indicator light solidly whilst switch is depressed. These symptoms are the same on both econoseal connectors left and right.I have cleaned the earth connection within the headlamp bowl, and also the one which clamps to the chassis inboard of the left headlight. I have a multimeter, but not much clue how to use it! Is this likely to be a simple case of the connection wired up incorrectly (from the headlight end)? Any thoughts would be appreciated (in very simple terms!) Thank you.

Tuck2020
Thanks Brett Id seen that somewhere else, and was trying to make sense of it. My loom doesn't seem to have blue/white, or red, but there are 2 green/red and a red/black instead.
SM25T
You need a multimeter or bulb to see which core gets 12V for each switch setting
Tuck2020
I'm currently working on that. Should I be getting any significant power "leakage " across terminals that shouldn't be in use. I'm getting approx 4v from some terminals, does that indicate a bad earth somewhere?
