Horn replacement - ID this horn

Hi All,

Today my car thought it appropriate to add lightness on it own by ejecting one of the horns.

Can anyone identify if this is the low or high note horn?

I think it is the low one as the CH2104 number matches vs the high horn looks like it has CH2105

Cheers

Or one of the many knock off PIAA snail horns on eBay like these.

Loud, low cost, easy to fit and compact - I fitted a pair a couple of years ago and they are way better than the standard horns.   The genuine PIAA ones are about £40.

  • 2 years later...

Just fitted a pair of Lucas branded(LUHN 5 and LUHN 7) low and high tone horns.  Apart from having to wire separate earth terminals EF50FA48-1463-461A-97A0-B0962DDB49AA.thumb.jpeg.b4bb94f0022254bfd11672a45f43a3f6.jpeg rather than the horn case, an easy replacement.  The snail shaped trumpet type cases give a much better tone and volume.  Appear nicely made and not heavier than the OE 23 year old Lucas red pancake shaped items
