Ignition/Steering Lock removal/ supersprint

I have a 95 Supersprint. I would like to remove the steering lock including the ignition tumbler. Unfortunately I cannot get to see how it is fixed other than 2 threaded somethings so I do not know the tool to remove as I cannot see the heads and my phone will not focus that close.

Help appreciated otherwise its an angle grinder

They are fitted with two shear head bolts and are designed to be awkward to remove.

On an original mini, which has a similar arrangement, I used a sharp punch and hammer to undo the bolts (and patience)

From a quick search of the archives:

1. The switch is a Land Rover part and can be changed while leaving the barrel in place.
2. The lock is held by two bolts that are designed to shear.

Pretty sure the barrel is fixed by security bolts where the heads snap off when they are sufficiently tightened. I was fortunate on my '93 Supersprint that the bolts still had there heads on so was able to remove easily. However, that was 18 years ago so hopefully my memory isn't too hazy! Have you check both sides of the barrel?
